Placements24 seeks a Process Engineer for a Centurion facility to optimize chemical and energy processes, improving efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. You will collaborate with operations, R&D, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement scalable solutions.

The role requires a BEng in Chemical Engineering, 5+ years in chemical/energy, proficiency with Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD, and experience with PSM/HAZOP studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in chemical or energy industries.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and mass transfer.
• Experience with PSM and HAZOP studies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize chemical and energy processes to enhance yield and reduce costs.
• Design and implement process modifications and new technologies.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for new and existing processes.
• Conduct PHAs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to plant personnel.
• Monitor process performance using data analytics and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize chemical and energy processes to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.
• Design and implement process modifications and new process technologies.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

• Monitor process performance using data analytics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
