Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their Centurion facility, focusing on advancing production efficiency, quality, and safety across operations. You will design, develop, and optimize processes and equipment, drive automation, and collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to reduce costs and improve manufacturability.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, at least six years in a manufacturing engineering role,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with process automation and robotics in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of quality control systems and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and SPC techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs and work instructions.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
