Placements24 is seeking a Process Control Engineer for our Bloemfontein facility. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining APC strategies across DCS and PLC systems to ensure stable, efficient and safe plant operations.

You will develop and tune control loops, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate with operations to meet process requirements. Opportunities for advanced training and certification are available.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in process control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Strong understanding of control theory, instrumentation, and measurement technologies.
• Experience with advanced control techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams.

Responsibilities
