About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Process Control Chemical Engineer to enhance the automation and control systems of their chemical manufacturing facilities in Vereeniging . This role is essential for ensuring consistent product quality, operational efficiency, and plant safety through the implementation and optimization of advanced control strategies. You will work closely with operations and instrumentation teams to maintain and improve Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This is a hands‑on role that requires deep technical expertise in process dynamics and control theory, applied within a critical industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced process control strategies and systems (DCS, PLC).
