Absa Bank in Stellenbosch seeks a Private Wealth Banker to manage high-value client relationships and oversee wealth activities in a virtual Omni-channel environment. You will deliver superior customer experiences while coordinating with specialists to offer a full spectrum of financial solutions.

Role requires driving income growth, onboarding new clients, and ensuring compliance with FAIS, FICA and NCA policies.

Responsibilities

• Own the primary relationship with clients; be the main contact point and collaborate with specialists to offer full value proposition.
• Achieve the required contact strategy based on client portfolio segmentation.
• Respond to client requests; understand and meet client needs.
• Secure new business through interaction with current and prospective clients; onboard new clients.
• Maintain client retention by applying appropriate remedial actions.
• Achieve customer satisfaction scores in line with the value proposition.
• Coordinate with sales support to enable portfolio growth.
• Deepen relationships and achieve income targets from each portfolio.
• Prepare weekly for performance discussions with People Manager; review contact plans and opportunities.
• Review and negotiate pricing structures in line with Absa Pricing policy for profitability.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products within campaign parameters while complying with FAIS, FICA and NCA requirements.
• Drive income growth through timely client reviews and service requests.
• Protect assets through appropriate risk and credit assessment.
• Maintain transparency and communicate client requirements with supporting documents and bank position.
• Coordinate outstanding client reviews and ensure timely finalisation.
• Ensure arrangements with clients comply with credit guidelines and inform credit of special arrangements.
