Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in South Africa seeks a Private Label and Exclusive Brands Category Manager to drive performance and development of private label products across categories. You will translate strategy into concrete category plans, lead the innovation pipeline, and ensure portfolio profitability while guiding a category team and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5-7 years’ experience in private label, FMCG brand management, or product development leadership.
Experience in managing category-level brand portfolios and driving commercial performance.

Responsibilities

Own private label and exclusive brands commercial performance, including sales growth, margin delivery, and portfolio profitability.
Define and lead the private label and exclusive brands’ strategy, portfolio architecture, and growth priorities across categories.
Identify opportunities for innovation, range expansion, and customer value creation within private label and exclusive brands.
Provide guidance and direction to the Private Label Brand Manager, ensuring effective execution of category plans.
Ensure cross-functional alignment to support product development, launch planning and category growth.
