Job summary

Aon South Africa seeks a Private Client Services Consultant in Cape Town to manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth clients, delivering tailored short-term insurance solutions.

This hybrid role combines remote work with our Cape Town office, offering exposure to underwriting, client servicing, renewals, and advisory support while contributing to Aon's growth.

The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, negotiate with insurers, and ensure profitable portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Tertiary insurance qualification and FAIS registration.
• 2–5 years in a similar role, preferably with high net worth clients.

Responsibilities

• Determine needs of high net worth individuals for short-term insurance.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
• Provide professional advice on cover, conditions and exclusions.
• Negotiate cover and rates with insurers on behalf of clients.
• Ensure portfolio profitability by adhering to underwriting criteria.
• Assist with renewals, endorsements, premium queries and collections.
• Support in claims liaison and first notification of loss.
• Contribute to business development across Aon South Africa.
