Our client in the printing industry is seeking highly skilled, trade-tested professionals to join their production team. Only candidates with a recognised trade qualification will be considered.

Location: Port Elizabeth

Job Type: Contract role, on site

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate corrugated printing machines according to production requirements
• Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, environmental, and ISO standards
• Accurately interpret and execute work orders
• Monitor print quality, including ink viscosity and colour matching
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the department
• Capture and update production data on in-house systems daily
• Contribute to machine efficiency and uptime through adherence to maintenance processes
• Work collaboratively to maintain a safe and productive work environment

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Qualification/Certification in Corrugated Board Printing and Finishing Machine Minding (Non-Negotiable)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating printing machinery
• Knowledge of machine controls and systems (IoT exposure advantageous)
• Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint or similar systems)
• Strong understanding of ink, colour matching, and print processes
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
• Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail
