Based in Cape Town, you will lead client-facing engagements, mentor analysts, define requirements, and collaborate with project managers to manage scope and timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of banking, insurance, or investment management operations.
• Strong understanding of Basel III, IFRS 9 regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage requirements gathering and documentation for large-scale projects.
• Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with business process re-engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of complex business problems within the financial services industry, identifying root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Define business requirements, functional specifications, and process models for diverse client projects.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings with business users, IT teams, and senior management.
• Develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise business documentation and presentations.
