Job summary

Staff Focus in Centurion seeks a pricing professional to calculate and implement selling prices across multiple structures, inputting data into the accounting system, and coordinating with the sales team.

You will monitor margins, assist with price increases and promotions, and work closely with management to ensure accuracy and profitability. Advanced Excel and Sage 300 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Advanced or strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Highly competent and comfortable working with a calculator and numerical calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the sales team and management.
• Ability to work independently while following instructions and meeting deadlines.
• Previous experience in pricing, costing, margins, administration or a similar role will be advantageous.
• Experience with Sage 300 will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Calculate selling prices across various pricing structures.
• Calculate and implement selling prices for customer quotations.
• Input and implement pricing accurately on the accounting system.
• Implement and maintain annual and ad-hoc price increases.
• Compile, calculate and implement promotional specials.
• Communicate with Sales Representatives regarding pricing, price increases and specials.
• Assist the sales team with pricing-related queries and provide accurate information.
• Monitor pricing and margins to ensure accuracy and profitability.
• Work closely with the Director and General Manager and carry out pricing-related tasks and instructions as required.
• Ensure all pricing information is captured accurately and timeously.
