Job summary

Pedros Chicken is hiring a kitchen prepper to read orders, maintain speed of service and ensure food safety. You will follow the SOP, uphold BOH hygiene, keep orders accurate and manage stock according to SOP.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of kitchen prep experience, strong numeracy and literacy skills, and hold a Senior Certificate (preferred National Senior Certificate).

PURPOSE:

Ensure that food is prepared and plated according the Pedros Standard Operation Procedure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Able to read the orders correctly.
2. Maintain speed of service.
3. Maintain food safety standards according to SOP.
4. Maintain BOH Hygiene and Cleanliness standards according to SOP
5. Accuracy of orders they prepare.
6. Maintain BOH stock according to SOP.
