Sulzer Pumps (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd. seeks a skilled Toolmaker to manufacture, maintain, repair and assemble precision tooling, dies, gauges, and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working from specifications, and contributing to tooling design improvements while following Lean practices and 5S standards in a safe, controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Trade Tested Toolmaker.
• 3-5 years' experience in a toolroom or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Reading engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsabilités

• Tool manufacturing and repair in line with engineering drawings and specs.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on tooling and fixtures.
• Quality assurance through inspections and adherence to tolerances.
• Provide production support to improve tooling performance and uptime.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Support safety, health and environmental policies and initiatives.
