Qualifications

• Matric/Equivalent Qualification.
• Relevant Experience in Fruit Business would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail to ensure product quality and early defect identification.
• Reliability and strong work ethic to meet attendance and performance expectations.
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced production environment.
• Accountability for tasks and follow-through.
• Adaptability to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and completes all operational machine checks and ensure that optimal functioning and output is achieved.
• Completion of records: traceability, operator checklist, OEE and cleaning documents.
• Accurate record keeping of stock on hand.
• Manage work in progress (batch rotation)
• Coordinate rework optimally to keep levels low.
• Works to achieve production and output targets set to the correct quality standards.
• Reports on any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Adherence to all EHS & QFS Standards.
• Follow SOP for the process engaged in.
• Ensure quality standards and report deviations.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work area/station.
