Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of maintenance experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role.
• Proven people management, leadership and team development.
• Budget management experience and cost control.
• Strong safety background and knowledge of OHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance to maximise production uptime.
• Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Manage maintenance budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead, coach and develop artisans, technicians and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and GMR 2(1).
• Develop and implement capex upgrades and efficiency projects.
• Monitor spare parts usage and optimise inventory levels.
