Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Cape Town is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to set up, configure and operate CNC lathe/turning centers to produce high‑precision components exactly as engineering drawings specify. You will perform routine quality inspections with precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerances and specifications are met, and maintain clean equipment while following workshop health and safety protocols.

Prior CNC turning experience in a precision engineering environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate CNC lathe/turning centers.
• Machine high-precision components according to drawings and blueprints.
• Conduct routine quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerances and specs.
• Maintain clean equipment and perform basic machine maintenance while following health and safety protocols.
• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Lathe Operator in a precision engineering environment.
