Job summary

BevCo is seeking a Labeller Operator to operate and monitor labelling equipment in a beverage production line, ensuring correct, consistent labeling before packing. You will manage date coders, label alignment, and quality checks, keeping the line running while maintaining clean, safe work practices in a food safe environment.

The role requires Grade 12 and about 1 year of experience with labelling equipment and in beverages, with a proactive approach to fault finding, maintenance day

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• At least 1 year of experience with labelling equipment.
• Experience in beverage industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the labeller and monitor its performance.
• Ensure correct label placement, height, overlap and straightness.
• Verify date coder is active and printing clearly.
• Maintain clean labeller and surrounding area.
• Report faults to Team Leader promptly.
• Assist with equipment checks and routine maintenance as required.
