On Line Personnel seeks a disciplined Excavator Operator for a fast-paced metal recovery and recycling facility in Parow, Cape Town. The role emphasizes machine care, safety, and efficient handling of bulk materials to keep production lines running smoothly.

Requirements include Grade 12, an excavator competency certificate, and preferably a PrDP or Code B license, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience. Attaching hydraulic shears/grabs/magnets is a plus.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent technical qualification.
• Valid excavator competency certificate.
• PrDP or Code B license is advantageous.
• Medical fitness for heavy industrial yard.

Responsibilities

• Feed production machinery and sort/load bulk metals.
• Conduct daily machine checks (oil/hydraulics/track/grease).
• Maintain site safety in a busy yard.
• Assist with stockpile management and housekeeping.
