SA Metal in Cape Town seeks a qualified candidate to ensure strict adherence to operational processes and procedures while maintaining good customer relations. The role involves overseeing team performance, purchasing scrap metal at the correct grade, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and the Second-hand Goods Act.

Your responsibilities will include motivating staff, maintaining accurate records of purchases and dispatches, and inspecting scrap thoroughly.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring all operational processes and procedures are strictly followed.
• Maintain good customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring that the scrap metal is purchased at the correct grade.
• Ensuring records are updated and reconciled accurately for all items purchased and dispatched.
• Ensuring Company policies and procedures, and health & safety regulations are adhered to.
• Lead and supervise a team to achieve operational requirements.
• Motivating staff on a continuous basis.
• Ensuring that assistants thoroughly inspect scrap to be purchased.
• Ensuring compliance with the Second-hand Goods Act in scrap purchasing.
