Placements24 is seeking dedicated Assembly Workers in Paarl, Western Cape to assemble components and sub-assemblies to exact specifications. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, dexterity, and a commitment to quality within a production team.

You will perform quality checks, use hand and power tools, maintain a clean 5S workspace, and report issues. Training is provided and overtime opportunities are available in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Assembly Worker role or similar manufacturing/production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and work procedures.
• Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble manufactured products and components accurately and efficiently according to work instructions.
• Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure they meet standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
• Identify and report any defective parts or assembly issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve assembly processes.
