Qualifications

Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on precision agriculture.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with precision agriculture systems and technologies.
Strong understanding of GIS, GPS, remote sensing, and data analysis software relevant to agriculture.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage precision agriculture technologies on client farms, including GPS guidance, variable rate application, and remote sensing systems.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources such as yield monitors, soil sensors, drones, and satellite imagery.
Develop customized management zones and prescription maps for variable rate application of inputs like fertilizers and seeds.
Provide training and ongoing support to farmers and farm staff on the use and benefits of precision agriculture tools and techniques.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to precision agriculture equipment and software.
