Placements24 is seeking a Precision Agriculture Specialist for a fully remote role focused on advancing agricultural technology. You will guide farmers in implementing GPS-guided, data-driven precision farming practices, including variable rate technology, remote sensing, and FMIS integration.

The ideal candidate will combine agricultural expertise with strong data analysis and the ability to train operators remotely while staying ahead of industry advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Precision Agriculture or closely related roles.
• Familiarity with GIS software, GPS systems, VRT, remote sensing, and FMIS.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on the selection, implementation, and management of precision agriculture technologies.
• Analyze data from yield monitors, soil sensors, drone imagery to develop site-specific recommendations.
• Develop strategies for optimizing input application based on data analysis.
• Train farm operators and managers on precision agriculture equipment and software.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to precision agriculture systems.
• Stay updated on advancements in precision farming technology and best practices.
