Job summary

Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RF) (Pty) Ltd in the Western Cape invites a Work Integrated Learner (Technical) to assist in maintaining quality systems and support testing of 40mm, Pyrotechnics and HE.

You will work under supervision to set up tests, capture data, stock checks, and contribute to SHE compliance and reporting. The role requires an N6/NQF5 or Diploma with experiential learning and a Code B driver’s license, with occasional off-site work.

Qualifications

• N6/NQF5 qualification or currently studying towards a Diploma with a compulsory experiential learning component in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Electrical or equivalent qualification
• Driver's license (Code B)
• Able to work off site for short periods
• Good interpersonal skills and co-ordinating ability
• Clear security screening record
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and organizing skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing all relevant products
• Assist WRT serviceability and stock checks for all weapons and all jigs and fixtures used in tests
• Assist WRT setting up tests, execution, data capture and data base maintenance
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards and comply to all SHE requirements
• Ensure high quality standards are maintained
• Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/ Quality/ Environmental/Energy
