Omnia Holdings in Gauteng is seeking an Assistant (IS Test Lab) to support pre-release QC sampling and detonator testing in a production environment. The role involves lab work, data entry and ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting explosive testing activities.
The successful candidate will have Grade 12 (Maths and Science) and at least 1 year in QC sampling and lab testing, with exposure to explosives production considered advantageous.

This position will assist with the daily pre-release QC sampling and confirmation testing of detonators. The position will also on an ad hoc basis assist with detonator destruction, testing of emulsion explosives and other laboratory test work as assigned.
