Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, automotive powertrains.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or CATIA) and FEA analysis tools.
• Experience with component testing and data acquisition.
• IATF 16949 familiarity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive powertrains.
• Perform design analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration assessment.
• Utilize CAD tools to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Plan and conduct prototype testing and data collection.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure feasibility.
• Document designs and test results and support manufacturing issues.
• Stay updated on powertrain technologies and industry trends.
• Assist in continuous improvement of product design processes.
