About the Role

Our client requires a vigilant and skilled Power Plant Operator to manage the day-to-day operations of their generation facility in Polokwane . Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control power plant equipment, including turbines, generators, boilers, and associated auxiliary systems.
• Monitor plant performance parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, voltage, etc.) using control room instrumentation.
• Perform routine operational checks, log readings, and report any abnormalities or deviations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to plant alarms and upsets, taking corrective actions as per standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the plant operating areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure scheduled outages are executed efficiently and safely.

Requirements
