Placements24 seeks a diligent Power Plant Operator in Queenstown to manage daily operations, monitor generators, turbines and boilers, and ensure safe electricity production. You will start up and shut down equipment, respond to alarms, and keep accurate logs of plant activities.

The role requires a Grade 12 and a technical certificate is advantageous, with a minimum of 3 years' experience reading P&IDs and following safety procedures; shift work including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Plant Operator or in a similar operational role.
• Proven ability to read and interpret operational manuals and P&IDs.
• Strong understanding of power plant safety procedures and protocols.
