Genasys Technologies in Johannesburg is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics on the Genasys platform for insurers, MGAs and brokers. You will work with T-SQL, SQL Server and DAX to build reusable models, optimise data delivery, and ensure secure, governed reporting across client implementations and internal analytics.

This role combines client-facing BI with internal data work, requiring strong SQL, Power BI skills and an eye for data quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or national diploma in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
3 to 5 years’ experience in BI development or data-centric role with strong Power BI across Desktop and Service.
Strong T-SQL development skills on Microsoft SQL Server and reporting data layer.
Experience delivering insurance reporting is advantageous.

Responsabilités

Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics on the Genasys platform.
Deliver client-facing insurance reporting and internal management information.
Work with T-SQL, stored procedures, views and DAX measures to create semantic models and visualisations.
Ensure data quality, governance, and secure access across tenants.
