GVW Group is seeking a skilled BI Developer to turn raw data into actionable insights using Power BI. You will craft dashboards, data models, and reports that drive strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Power BI experience, strong DAX and SQL skills, and a passion for data storytelling. Based in Durbanville, you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3+ years of Power BI experience with complex DAX.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Experience with ETL and data visualization best practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into data solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design semantic data models and write complex DAX measures.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Connect Power BI to diverse data sources and ensure performance.
• Provide user training and ongoing Power BI support.
• Document data models, processes, and reporting standards.
