Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to oversee distribution centre operations in Port Elizabeth. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping, while coordinating with transport to ensure timely deliveries across the Eastern Cape.

Leading a team, you will drive productivity, enforce health and safety standards, and seek opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. A strong background in WMS and inventory control is essential.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to manage their distribution centre operations in Port Elizabeth . This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving, as well as coordinating with the transport team to ensure seamless logistics. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, driving productivity and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from storage to delivery in the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Coordinate with transport planners and drivers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.

Requirements
