Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse investment property portfolio in and around Port Elizabeth. The role requires strategic leadership, strong financial acumen, and extensive experience in asset management, tenant relations, and value creation.

You will drive performance, optimize returns, and ensure compliance with regulations while focusing on growth in the Eastern Cape market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in property portfolio management or asset management.
Strong understanding of the Port Elizabeth real estate market dynamics.
Proficiency in property management software and financial analysis tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of a property portfolio, including residential and commercial assets.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance property value and rental income.
Oversee tenant acquisition, leasing, and retention activities to minimize vacancies.
Manage property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects efficiently.
Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and performance analyses for the portfolio.
Ensure compliance with all relevant property management regulations and lease agreements.
