Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a pool maintenance professional to join our onboard hospitality team. You will perform daily maintenance and cleaning of all pools, ensure water quality, and support a seamless guest experience at sea.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while collaborating with housekeeping and F&B teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of pool chemicals and their proper use and handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning tasks on all pools.
• Monitor pool water quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper sanitation levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain inventory of pool supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing of pools at the beginning and end of each cruise.
• Respond to guest inquiries or concerns regarding pool maintenance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on pool decks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Education

• Monitor pool water quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper sanitation levels

• Maintain inventory of pool supplies and equipment and place orders as needed
• Assist with opening and closing of pools at the beginning and end of each cruise
• Respond to any guest inquiries or concerns regarding pool maintenance and safety
