Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee infrastructure development projects in Polokwane. The role requires meticulous planning, execution, and management to meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to deliver critical infrastructure supporting regional growth in Limpopo. A strong technical background and proven project management capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure project management experience.
• Experience in contract management, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and environmental impact assessments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for infrastructure development, from feasibility to handover.
• Develop detailed project plans: scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety, environmental policies and building codes compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, consultants, and contractors to meet deliverables on time and within budget.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain permits and approvals for projects in Polokwane.
