Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced PMO Project Manager for its ICS PMO unit in Johannesburg. Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, coordinating team members and contractors to meet defined objectives and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8 years of PM experience, PMP/Prince2 certification, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. You will develop project plans, manage resources, and report to senior management.

Qualifications

8 years of project management and related experience.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and deliver projects in line with deadlines, scope and budget.
Direct and manage project development from start to finish.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and communications documents.
Estimate resources needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals and adjust budgets as needed.
Deliver projects within scope, time and budget with quality results.
Compile end-to-end project documentation for assigned projects.
Engage all stakeholders proactively and escalate when required.
Set and manage project expectations with the team and stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts early.
Identify dependencies and constraints from initiation to closeout.
Use MS Project and other tools to plan timelines and milestones.
Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members.
Conduct post-delivery reviews and capture knowledge.
