Job summary

EXCELLENCE IN PGM's in Rustenburg invites applications for a Maintenance Planner to coordinate and manage the maintenance management program for process, shafts and services divisions.

Key duties include capturing maintenance data, processing work orders, and ensuring proper documentation and filing. The role requires basic health and safety awareness and a strong eye for accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
• Maintenance Planner Certificate is desirable.
• Planned Maintenance experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately captures work order confirmations, including breakdown information.
• Places orders for components and services when confirming work orders.
• Assists with capturing availabilities and downtimes.
• Technically completes work orders.
• Reports on outstanding work orders and notifications.
• Prints and distributes scheduled work orders.
• Creates follow on notifications.
• Maintains a proper filing system.

Job description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To assist in the coordination and management of the maintenance management program for process, shafts and services divisions by correctly capturing all Planned Maintenance information on the computerised maintenance management system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential
• Maintenance Planner Certificate is desirable
• Planned Maintenance experience is desirable

COMPETENCIES:

• SAP Planned Maintenance
• Knowledge of planned maintenance principles, processes, and systems.
• Understanding of the purpose and use of Planned Maintenance documentation is essential
• Knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in the workplace is essential.
• Work ethic: Punctual, with a high standard of quality and accuracy, and able to work under pressure.
