Job summary

Transnet SOC Ltd is seeking a seasoned Maintenance/Plant Engineering professional to lead maintenance of all TPT Equipment, Plant, and Buildings. The role drives cost-effective CAPEX management, planned maintenance, and safe working environments while aligning outputs to business needs.

Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years plant experience and 2 years in a supervisory capacity; further advantage for BSc/BEng/BTech and EIT program exposure. SAP PM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential : National Diploma : Engineering: Mechanical
• Advantageous : BSC / B Eng / B. Tech: Mechanical
• 5 Years experience in Plant, with 2 years first line management experience; Supervisor / Technician
• Advantageous: Transnet EIT Program OR Relevant qualification (NQF 5) 6 yrs relevant and solid experience with at least 2 yrs at managerial level or specialist experience.
