Placements24 is seeking a diligent Plant Operations Technician for Welkom to support the day‑to‑day running and maintenance of the production plant. You will operate and monitor plant equipment, perform routine checks and minor repairs, ensuring continuous and efficient production while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires the ability to read technical manuals, work safely in an industrial environment, and collaborate with a team to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plant Operations Technician or in a similar industrial operating role.
• Good understanding of industrial machinery and production processes.
• Ability to interpret basic technical manuals and operational instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks as required.
