Planner Transport

The successful candidate will provide high-level oversight and strategic input to ensure that daily planning and master data management processes run effectively. While not officially a team lead, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by ensuring that both the Planner and Master Data Manager are on track with their tasks and aligning their work with broader business objectives.

High-Level Oversight Support:

1. Monitored daily planning activities, ensuring they aligned with strategic goals.
2. Provided guidance on fleet distribution strategies and operational decision-making.
3. Assisted with troubleshooting planning-related challenges, particularly during critical times, to support smooth operations for the following day.

Network Modeling Optimization:

1. Led network modeling efforts to analyze current and future states of the distribution network.
2. Worked on optimizing distribution models to balance fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
3. Evaluated closed distribution networks and their impact on service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Feasibility Studies Analytics:

1. Conducted feasibility studies to assess the viability and impact of new accounts or consignee sets within the distribution network.
2. Provided data-driven recommendations to management regarding business expansion and fleet performance optimization.
3. Analyzed key account volume contributions and stop-count trends to understand profitability shifts.

Business Intelligence Strategic Insights:

1. Led business intelligence initiatives aimed at increasing transparency and driving innovation.
2. Developed analytical models and reporting frameworks to support executive decision-making.
3. Played a key role in presenting insights and findings to senior management, influencing strategic direction.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Knowledge of transportation / warehouse management systems.
3. Understanding of the logistics industry.
4. Familiarity with transportation regulations.
5. 3 - 5 years of fleet management experience.
6. 7 - 10 years' experience in the Logistics Industry.
