Placements24 seeks a skilled Pipeline Engineer to join the team in Sandton. The role covers design, construction oversight, integrity management, and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines to ensure safe, efficient transport of hydrocarbons in line with regulations.

You will address technical challenges, apply best practices in the Oil & Gas sector, and uphold stringent safety standards while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, Oil & Gas focus.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline design codes and integrity assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design pipeline routes and materials; develop construction specs.
• Oversee pipeline construction; ensure safety and design conformity.
• Develop and implement pipeline integrity programs including inspection and testing.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation for potential failures.
