Austell Pharmaceuticals is looking for a motivated and engaging Sales Trainer to join our Medical & Training Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist who enjoys translating pharmaceutical knowledge into practical, engaging training that makes a meaningful difference.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing the product knowledge and capabilities of our Brand Ambassadors and Sales Representatives, ensuring they are equipped to confidently and accurately engage with customers in the retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging product knowledge training for Brand Ambassadors and Sales Representatives.
• Facilitate product knowledge onboarding, ongoing development and refresher training to maintain consistent product knowledge standards.
• Simplify complex pharmaceutical and healthcare information into practical, easy-to-understand learning content.
• Develop training materials, assessments and evaluations to measure employee knowledge and competency.
• Conduct field visits to provide practical coaching, identify knowledge gaps and support employee development.
• Engage professionally with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to provide accurate product information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve training effectiveness and ensure compliance with industry requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) qualification.
• Registered Pharmacist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in retail pharmacy or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong pharmaceutical and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify technical information and engage employees with different levels of knowledge.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within South Africa for training and field coaching.
