Job summary

Medirite Allens Nek is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a dedicated team and drive operational excellence while ensuring compliant, high-quality healthcare services within the Shoprite network.

You will oversee dispensing, administration, stock control, budgeting, and relationship-building with prescribers and suppliers, cultivating growth and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification.
• Registered pharmacist with SAPC.
• PCDT (Primary Care Drug Therapy) qualification.
• Registered as a tutor.

• Dispense medication accurately and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage pharmacy administration, stock, housekeeping, sales and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, professional and company requirements.
• Plan, prioritise and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
• Monitor performance, manage budgets and resolve operational challenges.
• Build relationships with prescribers, suppliers and store teams.
• Coach and develop pharmacists, interns and support staff.
• Lead with a high-performance culture through motivation and accountability.

What you bring

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree/ equivalent qualification.
• Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
