Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to manage a community pharmacy in Vereeniging. You will dispense medications, advise patients, and support a small pharmacy team with professional care.

Requirements include SAPC registration, a Bachelor of Pharmacy, and at least 3 years of experience in community or clinical practice. Strong counselling skills and proficiency with dispensing software are essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and adherence to legal requirements.
• Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and counselling to patients on medication use, side effects, and health conditions.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or allergies.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and other pharmacy products.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants and technicians, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and legislation.
