Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Pharmaceutical Process Development Engineer for our client in Nelspruit to optimize and scale up manufacturing processes. You will design, validate, and troubleshoot processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and GMP compliance across production lines.

You will collaborate with R&D, QA, and production teams to transition processes from lab to commercial scale, implement CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement with state-of-the-art technologies in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 4 years in process development or manufacturing engineering in pharma.
• Solid understanding of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing principles.
• Experience with process validation and equipment qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
• Experience with project management and proactive problem-solving.
