Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join their Sandton team. The role focuses on ensuring pharmaceutical products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle.

You will develop, implement, and maintain the QMS, conduct internal audits and support external inspections, and oversee CAPA and deviations with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the QMS (SOPs, work instructions, policies).
• Conduct internal audits and support regulatory inspections and client audits.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols and quality docs.
