Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist in Benoni to strengthen our client’s quality management system. You will manage QMS processes, conduct audits, and lead deviation investigations to ensure products meet GMP and SAHPRA standards.

You will review batch records, validation protocols, and other critical documentation while providing training on QA principles, driving continual improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related science discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance or QC role.
• Solid GMP and regulatory knowledge (SAHPRA).
• Experience with audits, deviation management, and CAPA systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain QMS including document control, change control, and record management.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits by regulators and customers.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and complaints; identify root causes and implement CAPAs.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and other quality docs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and international standards; provide QA training.
