Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor near Benoni to ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing processes and documentation. You will audit internal departments and external suppliers, identify non-conformities, and drive corrective actions within a GMP-regulated environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a scientific field and at least 4 years in QA/QC in pharma, with strong report-writing and communication skills to interact with multiple management levels in the Gauteng region.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a scientific field as listed.
• Minimum 4 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in pharma.
• Experience conducting GMP audits (internal and external).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, QMS, and audit principles.
• Excellent report writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings to management in Benoni.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits of manufacturing, QC, QA and other departments.
• Perform external audits of contract manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and third-party vendors.
• Evaluate effectiveness of the QMS and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards and company policies.
• Develop and track CAPAs from audit findings.
• Provide training on quality systems and audit procedures.
