Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to maintain, secure, and optimise the organisation's network infrastructure within a regulated pharmaceutical production environment. You will ensure high availability, performance, and compliance while collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.

The role requires strong networking, security, and project delivery capabilities, with experience in OT environments and supervision of third-party service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• CompTIA Network+
• Fortinet NSE Level 1-3 or equivalent networking certification

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
• Maintain and administer network infrastructure including installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software
• Monitor system performance and ensure high network availability and reliability
• Lead or contribute to IT infrastructure and networking projects
• Coordinate project timelines and resources for successful delivery
• Mentor internal and external IT support personnel
