Job summary

Biovac in Cape Town seeks a Stores and Warehouse Specialist to manage inventory, receiving, storage and distribution in a cGMP environment. You will ensure stock accuracy, support ERP/SAP processes and maintain quality standards across the store and warehouse operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in stock control, a Matric and a storekeeping certificate, with SAP experience preferred. Close collaboration with procurement and planning is essential to sustain production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in stores/warehouse management.
• Experience with cGMP and quality management systems.
• Computer literate with ERP/SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to SOPs and efficiency standards in material handling and storage.
• Process reservations and BOM requests by picking required goods.
• Perform stock counts and update records; ensure accurate picking and packing.
• Maintain stock records and handle goods receiving per SOPs and GDocP standards.
• Coordinate transfers between stores and ensure timely delivery for production.
• Ensure materials are ready for dispatch and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
