Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Specialized Cleaner for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Mahikeng. The role focuses on maintaining a sterile, GMP-compliant environment in cleanrooms and production areas, with precise handling of cleaning agents and strict documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a cleaner in pharma/manufacturing.
• Experience in controlled environments such as cleanrooms (ISO Class 5–8).
• Thorough understanding of GMP and cleanroom protocols.
• Proficient with specialized cleaning equipment and disinfectants.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning and disinfection of cleanrooms and production areas.
• Follow SOPs for sanitizing, sterilizing surfaces, tools, and machinery.
• Use and handle cleaning agents and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanroom environmental integrity and prevent cross-contamination.
• Record all cleaning activities, chemicals used, dates and personnel.
• Manage cleaning supplies and consumables inventory for cleanrooms.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with QA and Production to support validation and audits.
