The role requires a Masters or PhD in Geochemistry, at least six years in petroleum geochemistry for exploration, and hands-on work with GC-MS, GC-FID, IRMS, and Rock-Eval pyrolysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in petroleum geochemistry focused on exploration.
• Proficiency with GC-MS, GC-FID, IRMS, and Rock-Eval pyrolysis.
• Strong interpretation and communication of complex findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geochemical data from rock samples, oils, and natural gases to assess source rock maturity, richness, and hydrocarbon type.
• Interpret isotopic and molecular data to determine migration pathways, mixing histories, and reservoir filling processes.
• Calibrate geochemical data with basin modeling and seismic interpretations to define petroleum systems.
