Job summary

J2E Placements is seeking a Senior Technician Shipping/Receiving & Distribution to ensure efficient processing, packing, and distribution of customer orders. You will coordinate export shipments, manage warehouse operations, and monitor on-time delivery while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires experience in shipping, warehousing, or export operations, with forklift/ Reach Truck certification preferred and strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, warehouse, distribution, or export operations.
• Forklift and Reach Truck certification preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and courier processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Warehouse Management systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and export shipments.
• Generate and verify shipping documents, including tax invoices and packing lists.
• Coordinate and confirm export orders for neighboring countries.
• Obtain courier quotations and arrange shipment collections and deliveries.
• Manage daily picking slips, backorders, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor and report On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
• Liaise with couriers and stakeholders to resolve delivery and logistics queries.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety standards.

Position Summary
Responsible for the efficient processing, packing, and distribution of customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service. Coordinates export shipments, courier activities, warehouse operations, and shipping performance reporting to support supply chain objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of between 2 to 3 years experience as a Petrol Vehicle Technician within the Automotive Industry
• Dealership experience is a requirement
• Must have a Trade Test for Motor Mechanic completed through merSETA | QCTO | Olifantsfontein
• Valid Driver's License required
